Memorable time....

Hola, I am back from my visit and

I had a fabulous time.

I had a birthday dinner at Olive Garden,

with my daughter and the kids.

I also had a birthday cake,

with songs and candle blowing.

I was surprised, specially to see a number

four candle on the cake. LOL

My kids forgot to get candles and number

four was the only candle available

and I did not care.

The whole idea worked fine for me.

Even though, there were lots of rainy days,

I still had a fabulous time.

Thanks guys for a great time.

I am looking forward to the summer,

where I plan to spend a month at my daughter’s

home.

Blessed with another year...

I can't believe I am celebrating the

BIG 60

I thank God to be able to celebrate it.

Today is my youngest Grand daughter's birthday,

This is my brother-in-law, with his new grand daughter,

Gabriella Rose Lopez

born on Sept. 20, 2010

She weighed 7lbs. 9oz.

she was 19 inches long,

even though, she looks tiny in her Grandpa's arms.

I am extremely happy for the Lopez family,

because this is the first female in this family.

My brother in law raised four males, and finally

a girl in the family. We are awaiting another female,

soon to arrive.

Congratulations to the Lopez family on

their new addition.

I am taking a mini vacation....

I am taking a mini vacation to Virginia Beach, Va.

I am going to spend a week at my daughter's

home, with the Rug rats.

Grandma is taking her swimsuit and lots

of pain reliever. Which, I know will come in handy

after the kids get through with me.

They gave me a list of places they plan to take me.

I wonder. if my vacation will commence upon my return, LOL

New York is a having a heatwave, but I manage to make time
to do some cards.

I thought that I would leave a few cards for my fellow

I’m back from my family visit. I had a great time with my kids. We had two birthday celebration, my grandson (Elias) and his sister (Miss Leandra).

We had a barbecue party for them on the weekend. It was a small party, but the kids had a blast. My daughter was having yard work done, so this limited the amount of kids on the invitation list. This week the yard was completed, and the only thing left is to replace the doors. I love what was done with the yard. When they purchased the house, they didn’t know that there was a problem with the drainage system. During heavy rain falls the water would accumulate and it would become almost like a pool, it would get really muddy. The dogs and kids would track in mud, and it was a nightmare. She invested her money into fixing the yard in time for the summer, so the kids are in their glory. She has a nice size yard and it would have been horrible not to be able to enjoy the yard. Now, they picked up a pool and plan to enjoy the Memorial Day in their new backyard.

I am sorry for the delay on my card posting, but I came home with much needed rest, LOL. Here are the cards that I created. I cut one of two cards. The card that I didn’t cut is similar to the one that I did. It’s for Father’s day. I decide to post it anyway, so if there are any glitches in the cut, please take a moment to let me know. I will be appreciative, if anyone would inform me of any mistakes found.
