The Jellyfish Encounter...

THE JELLYFISH
This weekend my Grandson (Elias), went to Virginia Beach with his family, something that they do quite often being residences of Virginia Beach. While swimming he encountered the tentacles of a Jellyfish that was not visible, but made his presents known. He turned to his Dad with the pain left behind by his encounter. Dad, quickly told him and the girls out of the water. He rinsed the stings on his body, which where on his arm, leg and belly. They drove home which is but 5 minutes from the beach and treated the stings with Vinegar for 15 to 30 minutes. Then took him to the hospital to make sure that the toxins were not detrimental to him. They found that his parents treat it properly and sent him home with some benedril. I spoke to him upon his return home. I reminded him about his first school project, which he had picked Jellyfish as his topic. Who would think that a year later after researching the life and times of the Jellyfish, that he would first hand experience the pain the are inflected by a Jellyfish. This research also had given him and his parents the knowledge on what to do about treating Jellyfish stings. Some stings can be deadly. I am enclosing my scrapbook page that I had done on his first school project
(The Jellyfish).

Brain storm...

and

Just finally finished this Castle card. Which I had started some time back and never got around to using it. It was a brain storm idea, that just sat in my files. I never got around to using it, so it's untitled but I am sure that you can used it for a Birthday card, Missing you, etc. I find it so cute that I had to share it. This is one of a few that I never get around to title and use. I am trying to finish some of them now, now that I have a few days without any celebrations to forfill. So enjoy and thank you for stopping by and for the few comments that are left, which I enjoy so dearly.

A shot at another tri-fold card...

This is another version of a tri- fold card . It was a slight challenging for me because the only tri-fold cards that I have created was one with a center heart cut out. I have made also angle cards but not tri-fold. I was quiet pleased with the results. I hope that you agree with me on my creation. I used Brenda Walton's 3-D stickers from K&C company, and decorative paper from Vivid paper pad. The theme I used was Thinking of You. Hope that you enjoy this card and find some way of using it. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy...

Ouch! How painful is that?

My brave son in law, just went through an ordeal that I won't want to experience. The Predator a stone, a stone that tormented him to no ends. Stone in the gallbladder, and it was time to visit the Wizard of Oz. Yup! Wizard adorned with a scalpel and hiding behind a mask. He did his magic and home he went. Free of this stone bandit that caused him a nightmare that he was glad to be rid of. I made this card for him to bring a little joy into his life. LOL Even though he experienced lots of pain, he managed to play his role bravely. I don't know, if my daughter would give him a number 5 rating, but he pull through.
Way to go Brian!

Have a Great Birthday...

Colby

I want to wish my Grandson, Colby a very Happy Birthday. He's turning 7 years old on July 10. He loves playing sports. Basketball is his favorite, and he's very good at it, too. I took time to make his Birthday card with a basketball player slam dunking the basketball. I hope that you find a youngster who loves basketball, that can also enjoy this card, too.
Enjoy!
